12 Week Fitness Program

Starting the 6th of May, I'll be posting a 12-week program to get almost anyone ready and fit for trek.  But since this week is spring break, I thought I'd toss out a challenge to anyone who is ready and willing to get an early start.

This challenge is a relatively easy one intended to just get you out and moving.

First off, I hope that you all were able to get your trekking shoes and you are ready to start breaking them in.  This is a good way to start.

Ready...set...GO!

For this week, simply GET OUTSIDE and go for at LEAST one 2-3 mile walk (should take you 45 minutes to an hour).  You can just walk around your neighborhood, or go on a hike (the weather is awesome!) Walk at a brisk enough pace so that you can feel your heart beating a little bit faster and you can feel yourself breathing a bit harder.  Find a friend and get them to walk with you.
